iTunes (and Mac) Mobile Phone Remote

When I started this blog, I had no intention of ever writing so much as a single entry about my mac. Then I found the Salling Clicker , a piece of software that enables most bluetooth mobile phones to act as an iTunes remote control.

But I can justify this post, honest. Not only does the Salling Clicker control iTunes, as shown in the photos here, but it can also open and control other applications like email, the Mac OS DVD player and Powerpoint (and a growing number of third party scripts are being developed). So for those of you who regularly give powerpoint presentations, and want to do so with a bit of added flair, this is something that might come in handy. Of course, I find it most useful when used to browse through my iTunes library from my sofa…
