mobile owners urged to store emergency contact details

If something happened to you, would rescuers be able to figure out who to contact? Probably so if you have your family listed in your mobile phone directory as "mom and dad" or "home" but what if you have important numbers listed only by name?

According to BBC News Online, in the aftermath of Thursday’s terrorist attacks in London, mobile phone users are being encouraged to make an entry for ICE in their phone: In Case of Emergency. That way, rescuers, police, and hospital staff can quickly contact a family member or friend on your behalf.
