Youtube has added a new feature that gives users the ability to send video from their mobile phone directly to the site. It works in the same way as flickr‘s mobile to web functionality for cameraphone images: users create a mobile profile and the site creates a unique e-mail address where they can send photos/video.
I use the flickr version of this functionality all the time – the important thing to remember is to save your unique email address as a contact in your phone, otherwise you’ll never get around to using it. Mind you, slowing yourself down a bit might keep your network charges down.
