i'm still alive

Yesterday I mentioned to one of my colleagues at Headshift that I haven't managed to find the time to blog much since I joined the first week of July.

I'm still alive, honest. And I have, if you know where to look, actually been doing a bit of mobile blogging recently over on my St. Albans blog.

If you're still skeptical, you can see me with your own eyes if you happen to be in London next week, Amsterdam the following week (with Barcelona tentatively booked too) and in December I'll be giving a presentation at a conference in Dubai.

So what have I been up to? Well, other than the half day spent recovering form the Headshift balcony party (see photo), I've been busy, as has everyone here, creating social media goodness for a whole range of clients and potential clients. In the past few days, the following sort of things have touched my hands:

• a recruitment site
• a corporate alumni site
• a gaming portal
• a couple of EU "e"______ bids
• several websites for charities
• a non-profit wanting functionality for a virtual office
• a proposal for an electronics manufacturer and a handful of other things.

Keeping in mind that it's now the second morning of the work week, following the long (Bank Holiday) weekend, I think this pretty much explains why I haven't been blogging all that much. But I will - as soon as some of these projects get out the door I'll be able to tell you more about them and, finally, you'll have some idea what me and the social media team here at Headshift do.

You know, I got a conference pack for Dubai that introduced you as "King of UK Bloggers" - I mean, you no whave this rep to live up to ;-)

Of course, now I need to come up with some crazy title like that - maybe Blogger Sheikh ;-)
