  1. Thank you for sharing. Very happy to see your article, I very much to like and agree with your point of view. Have a good time.

  2. Seven per cent of Middle East bloggers surveyed for a Harvard University study say they have been arrested or detained during the last 12 months. Thirty per cent say they have been personally threatened, while 18% say their website or online account was hacked or attacked.

  3. When school-camp ended, Ian rejoiced. He really just wants to play video games and draw pictures and hang out with me. A little computer time is fine, but he we can’t let him play Plants vs. Zombies for six hours straight. To distract him from the computer, we keep on the move. He saw the Smurf movie with my mom. We went to Barnes and Noble, the swim club, and the nature center. We went to IKEA for breakfast this morning. After a quick shove out the front door, he always has fun, but sometimes it does take a shove to get moving.

  4. Regular readers of Everyday Sociology know that I’m the new kid on the block. And I must say I’m pretty surprised to find myself in this position. It’s not that I don’t love sociology (which I do) and it’s not that I don’t enjoy writing about it (which I also do) it’s that I could never figure out how people had the time to read blogs, much less write them. I have enough trouble juggling my job-related tasks (preparing for classes, grading papers, attending committee meetings, working on my research) with my personal tasks (walking the dog, preparing meals, cleaning the house, exercising, following current events). And I know I’m not alone.
